The National Parks of California
DESCRIPTION
I imagined a visual identity system for four California national parks: Yosemite, Redwood, Channel Islands, and Joshua Tree. Each park is represented through an icon built from a landmark or form specific to that place in the same visual identity, so collective reads as a family while keeping each park as distinct.
The challenge was balancing cohesion across the set with enough individual character. To test how the system would hold up beyond the icons themselves, I designed a four-panel pamphlet showing how they'd function in situ and within a larger design system.
